Hey Howdy Hey Marge,
Thanks for stopping back at planDisney. As a mom of 4 always hungry, young men, we definitely know, and have spent plenty of time enjoying the
Walt Disney World Resort restaurants! You are definitely right about the number of restaurants. The great news is with all of these choices, you will be sure to find plenty of places that are just right for your family.
There are a few things you will want to know about Disney World dining before you start making your preferred restaurant list. You will be able to choose between a variety of Quick Service or Table Service locations.
Quick Service includes cafeteria or counter service restaurants. You can order, pay for your food and grab a table at your convenience, with no advanced reservations required. You can also choose the
Mobile Food and Beverage option available through the
My Disney Experience mobile app, and have your items ready at the time you select.
Table service restaurants are locations where the Guests are seated at a specific table and waited on by a Cast Member. These locations include casual and fine dining as well as character dining options and include buffets, family style and ordering from a menu.
Advanced dining reservations are always recommended and can be made starting at 60 days prior.
There are certainly restaurants that tend to be the most popular, but your family may not have the same tastes as other Guests. Therefore, the best way to select your preferred restaurant list is by reviewing the
Dining descriptions and menus. This is a great way to see if the style of restaurant and the menu options is something your family might enjoy. Lastly, don't be afraid to venture out and try something new. Some of our favorite meals happened at a restaurant we were hesitant to try and ended up loving!
I hope this helps you pick the perfect spots. If I can help with any additional planning, please stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
