Hi Charity!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about
dining reservations! We are huge fans of Disney dining experiences, and always have our own must-do list when planning a
Walt Disney World vacation. Some of those include tough to get reservations such as '
Ohana,
Topolino's Terrace: Flavors of the Riviera, and
California Grill. This requires me to get up very early in the morning to make reservations, but at the end of the day, it's so worth it!
Charity, I know the frustrations of not being able to reserve the restaurants you had planned for your vacation. I'm super sorry you weren't able to book any of them. Bear in mind that Guests who are staying on property have the opportunity to book dining reservations for a ten-day window when their booking date arrives. So, you will see some of the restaurants completely booked. This is also the case during peak attendance periods. Although you can create a dining wish list on the Walt Disney World website, there is no notification or system to alert you when reservations are available. My suggestion to you is to consistently check the Disney website for the day and time period you are looking to book. We have been very lucky to score last-minute reservations to our favorite spots. Also, when you are at the resort and parks, you can check the My Genie Day on your
My Disney Experience App to see if there are any reservations or wait-lists available for your favorite dining spots!
I hope this helps you plan a most magical vacation to the Disney parks!
