Do all restaurants have a “Gluten-Free” option at Disney? I don’t like to ask for help and do not want someone to go out of there way for me. I didn’t know how common or wide spread the “Gluten Free” items are across Disney property. Thanks for you help.

    Hi Chris,

This is a great question! At this point, I would say yes but there may be one or two that do not. I will say you will have more choices for gluten free dining than in the past.

I would recommend that you note this in your dining reservations. This will allow the chef to come out to you. Now speaking as a mom with a child who has a shellfish allergy, I recommend this. Why? Because you get to talk directly to the chef and the chefs love this! Seriously! Chefs love thinking outside the box for meals and this is one way they can. Plus the other dinners will be jealous as I know I am. This service is not out of the ordinary for Disney, it is so routine.

However, if you would like to avoid this, you can always look at menus online prior to picking a restaurant. You can also review menus at the entrance of a restaurant and confirm menu items with cast members. Even quick service restaurants have a chef on site to answer ingredient questions.

Finally, email the team at specialdiets@disneyworld.com any additional questions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
