Hi Gary! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
It sounds like you're planning to spend the day being thankful in Disneyland Park. You'll find them decorated for the Holidays, which should make the experience extra festive. I understand wanting to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal, but be aware that
dining reservations typically open up 60 days out for most dining locations at the Disneyland Resort. Availability may be limited and isn't guaranteed as this is a popular day and many locations featuring a holiday-inspired menu are snapped up quickly by other Guests. You will probably have to keep checking for reservations. People's plans change and when they cancel, new availability will appear. Persistence can really pay off, so don't give up!
Storytellers Cafe features a Thanksgiving meal at both brunch and dinner this year. This special offering in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a Character Meal where the Characters are in their holiday pajamas to be extra comfortable for the big meal. What a cute detail! Goofy's Kitchen in the nearby Disneyland Hotel will be a Winter holiday meal, but you'll find the menu items include many favorites you'd expect on your Thanksgiving Day table, including turkey. Plus, the Characters are in their holiday best.
If you have an admission ticket and a theme park reservation, you have additional options. At Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park, you'll find a Thanksgiving Turkey Meal available for adults and kids on the day itself. Plaza Inn on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park will also be serving Thanksgiving meals. Nearby Carnation Cafe will as well. Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square isn't offering a full Thanksgiving meal, but it will feature a few Thanksgiving-inspired menu items to select from to enhance your holiday.
If you're not able to secure your perfect holiday dining reservation, there are quick service locations that could fit the bill. These spots don't require a reservation but can offer very tasty choices and fun immersive spaces. Check the menus of quick service locations using the Disneyland mobile app. Flo's V8 Cafe in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park will feature a Thanksgiving Day meal. Others have menu items that are seasonally inspired. Try Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, which offers a delicious Thanks-mas Sandwich and Turkey Pot Pie Soup at this time. Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland will have a Thanksgiving Feast Bowl, which also sounds good. Alternatively, stop by the
Festive Foods Marketplaces in Disney California Adventure Park for small bites inspired by your holiday favorites.
Finally, as a meal on the go, you can consider the Turkey Leg and Corn on the Cob available in both parks at various carts found throughout.
I hope this helps!
