Are there restaurants that you can dine and still see the fireworks displays, and are there times for fireworks already set? Jan 1-5 and wanted to plan a dinner where we could see fireworks. If not, maybe an area that we could stay and watch after eating?

    Hi Meredith,

I love dining with the fireworks! It adds extra magic to a meal.

For viewing the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, Narcoossee's and California Grill are the top picks. Not only do they pipe the music for the fireworks into the restaurant, they stop service so that you can concentrate on watching the fireworks. This means no cold meals while watching the fireworks.

If you want to watch the fireworks after a meal, the beach at the Polynesian or inside Magic Kingdom there is Tomorrowland and Liberty Square.

For viewing Illuminations at Epcot, La Hacienda de San Angel, Rose & Crown and Tokyo Dining are great choices. Like their counterparts for the Magic Kingdom fireworks, music is piped in as well.

If a table is not available, any place around World Showcase will be great or on the steps of the pagoda where Tokyo Dining is located are great spots.

Illuminations is at 9:00 pm on most nights. The Magic Kingdom fireworks fluctuate but the times are listed online. You want to make dinner reservations at least 45 minutes prior to the fireworks starting.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
