Hi, What signature/tableservice restaurants have counters/bars for dinner & would be good for a solo traveler? Thinking about Narc, Calif G, BOG, LeCelliur for CLP, B Derby for Fant. How hard do you think it will be to get ressie for one at these? Than

    Hi Karen!

It sounds like you've already picked out a TON of great restaurants to try out! Awesome choices!!

Another restaurant you may want to add to your list if Flying Fish. Not only is the food excellent, but there is a very cool bar area where you can see the Chefs and interact with them. It makes for a very unique dining experience AND it is more interactive than sitting at a table alone!

Another great restaurant to check out is Artists Point at the Wilderness Lodge. There you'll have great food AND a wonderful setting too! Win-Win!

California Grill also has an excellent bar area - if you prefer this over a regular table. For a fun (not signature) experience, I also recommend the bar area of 50's Prime Time Cafe. It is a different feel than the other restaurants you are interested in, but might make for some nice diversity!

For restaurants that you can sit in the bar area, you should have no problems being a single traveler and, many times you don't even need a reservation. Be sure to start making your reservations 180 days in advance - especially for these popular restaurants!

Have fun on your solo trip! It sounds like fun!
