What do restaurants do to celebrate a birthday?

Hi, Cathy!  Many of the restaurants at Walt Disney World try to do something to acknowledge a birthday.  When we have been celebrating birthdays, we have received a birthday card signed in Swahili at Boma; a birthday placemat at Chef Mickey's; a complimentary dessert at Jiko; and similar birthday acknowledgements at other dining locations.

It really is up to the discretion of the restaurant how they share in your celebration.  Make sure you have it noted on your dining reservations that you are celebrating, and wear your birthday button!  If nothing else, you will be sure to be greeted with some warm birthday wishes!
