Welcome back to planDisney, Shirley. As a fellow
Disney Premiere Visa Cardholder, I’m always on the lookout for the best ways to stretch those
Disney Rewards Dollars and take advantage of every little
perk. It’s amazing how quickly the benefits can add up during a Disneyland Resort visit, so I’m happy to walk you through the current discounts available to you.
As a Disney Premiere Visa Cardholder, you’ll receive a
10% discount at several delicious dining locations throughout Disney California Adventure. These include Carthay Circle Lounge (for its Alfresco Dining), Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Lucky Fortune Cookery, Paradise Garden Grill, Sonoma Terrace, Studio Catering Co., and Wine Country Trattoria. It’s a great way to enjoy a wonderful meal while also putting your card’s perks to good use.
When it comes to merchandise, the
10% discount applies to select items at most retail locations across both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. That said, it’s helpful to know where the discount doesn’t apply so you can plan around it. The discount is not
valid at the Games of Pixar Pier, Silhouette Studio, Portrait Artists, face-painting locations, letter brush art stands, or other locations not owned or operated by the Disneyland Resort (with the exception of the Arribas Brothers Crystal Shops, which do honor the discount). Since merchandise offerings change regularly, I usually like to ask a friendly Cast Member at checkout. They’re always happy to let you know whether your discount applies.
While exploring the parks, don’t forget to take advantage of the exclusive
character experiences available only to Disney Visa Cardmembers. In Disneyland Park, you can typically meet Darth Vader at the Cardmember location outside Star Wars Launch Bay (near Autopia) in Tomorrowland. Over at Disney California Adventure, you’ll usually find a rotating character, often a classic Disney Friend or a Marvel Super Hero, at the Cardmember location in Hollywood Land near Stage 17. These meet-and-greets often have shorter waits, which is a magical little bonus all on its own.
And finally, your Disney Premiere Visa gives you 2% back in Disney Rewards Dollars when you use it to purchase Disneyland Resort theme park tickets, vacation packages, or even Lightning Lane Premier Passes (terms are always subject to change, of course, so it’s wise to confirm before each trip). It’s a great way to earn rewards while planning the very vacation you’ll spend them on.
I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney Premiere Visa Card on your upcoming Disneyland adventures, Shirley! If any more questions pop up as you plan, you know exactly where to find us—we’re always here at planDisney and so happy to help.
Wishing you a magical day filled with Disney dreams and delightful surprises!
