Hello Jason,
Thanks for bringing us your question and let me be the first to wish you a Happy 30th Anniversary! That occasion is certainly cause for a magical celebration. I'd be happy to dish about my favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.
My husband and I have tried to get into the habit of enjoying at least one
Fine/Signature Dining experience on each of our vacations. Last summer, we enjoyed an exceptional dinner at
Flying Fish on Disney's BoardWalk. The venue was stunning, the service was sensational and the menu was divine. Months later, we still talk about the Spanish Octopus appetizer we shared and the incredible Potato-wrapped Red Snapper I had for my entree. I wouldn't hesitate to return on a future trip.
We've also really enjoyed our experiences at
Narcoossee's (don't miss the Blackened Redfish or the Key Lime Pie Martini) and
Cítricos (Truffle Macaroni & Cheese and Guava-barbecued Short Ribs all the way here) both located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Either would be lovely for your upcoming celebration, but I'm dreaming of luxury dining at
Victoria & Albert’s for a milestone celebration in a few years. Reservations can be hard to come by, and the experience is a splurge, but I've only heard amazing reviews of the multi-course meal from presentation to the taste of each finely plated morsel. This is a bucket list meal I hope to enjoy one day soon.
I haven't personally experienced a meal at
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood located at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort just yet, but I was impressed by the decor last time I passed by. I've heard the menu is exciting and hope to enjoy the Chef's Signature Dinner for Two on an upcoming visit. I also have
Monsieur Paul and
Takumi-Tei, both located in EPCOT, penciled in at the top of my list as well.
I hope this gives you some ideas to try on your upcoming visit. Remember
advance dining reservations can be booked 60 days in advance and you'll want to secure your preferred locations as early as possible. I'd also recommend letting Cast Members know about your celebration when you arrive. You never know when a bit of pixie dust might end up sprinkled on your table.
Jason, please come back and see us again with more questions. I'd also be happy to share additional suggestions if you have a particular cuisine or budget in mind.
Magic and memories,
Amy
