we can make restaurant reservations for our June 11-16 stay (Boardwalk) on 4/12. Question 1.: will theme park extended hr schedule be published for our stay days, prior to 4/12 ? Question 2: will the meal plan be re-started prior to 4/12 ?

Hey there, Miss Barbara! Welcome from a Jersey girl sister!

If I had the Fates from Hercules standing here with me with their one future predicting eye, I'm not sure they'd be able to help answer your questions. Some things are just too hard to predict!

Let's start with your question about extended evening theme park hours. As you can see by taking a look at the theme park calendar, hours for June have not been populated just yet. I can make an educated guess and tell you that I believe you may have June hours in time to make your dining reservations in April. This is strictly from personal experience with the timing of these things, so there's no guarantee for sure, but Walt Disney World knows just how crucial planning is for many guests, and taking into consideration all sorts of factors, they do the best they can to keep those calendars up and ready to go months in advance.

As far as the Disney Dining Plan goes, I've been wishing upon some serious stars, Barbara, and I just don't know when we'll be able to purchase the dining plans. My fingers are crossed that it'll be soon, though, and I really hope maybe even in time for you to start booking your reservations. A great alternative to keep track of your dining budget is to purchase Disney gift cards to use only for meals. It can help keep you on budget when six Mickey ice cream bars a day seems like a good idea. No judgment, Barbara - just bump up the amount on those gift cards!

I hope your June trip is especially magical!
