Cheerio, Leslie, and welcome to planDisney! You'll be traveling to
Walt Disney World Resort in a few weeks, so I hope you have your Mickey shirts ready. I love that our international friends enjoy the theme parks, so I'm here to greet you with a big "Hiya, pal!"
Dining at Disney is one of my favorite activities...just ask my family. I've been known to look forward to lunch while I'm in the middle of breakfast! So, let's look at how booking advanced dining reservations will work during your trip.
Guests can book dining reservations
60 days in advance, and guests booked at Disney Resort Hotels have the perk of booking for the length of their stay up to ten days. If you're staying on Disney property, you should now be able to book all your dining online for the first ten days from your check-in date.
Now, Leslie, let's talk strategy. For the remaining days of your visit, you'll need to make those reservations on a day-by-day basis at around 6:00 AM EST. But fear not, I have a tip for you. If there are any hard-to-get reservations on your list, such as character or signature dining, I recommend trying to secure them later in that initial 10-day window. This way, you'll maximize your chances of snagging those coveted spots. I have faith in you!
My favorite restaurant at
Magic Kingdom Park is
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. Don't let the name scare you, Leslie! The food is exotic and fun, and the Cast Members will regale you with terrible, horrific, and embarrassingly bad puns. It's a blast! My behind-the-scenes tip is to ask for the off-menu Brazilian Cheese Bread as your appetizer. Trust me on this one, but let's keep it our secret, okay?
Leslie, I'm wishing on a star that you'll secure some fabulous dining experiences on your Disney holiday. Please
stop by planDisney anytime. Toodles!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
