    Are restaurant prices differ if booking a dinning package vs going to the restaurant itslef? (Eg. Would I be paying extra at the Tusker restaurant for booking it through the River of Lights dinning packg?) Unfortunately we aren’t doing Dinning Plan

    Hi, Monica! There are some pretty amazing dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort! Tusker House Restaurant, Tiffins, and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria are some of my family's favorites. There are also quite a few amazing shows and special events found all across the Resort, such as Rivers of Light, Candlelight Processional, and Fantasmic! Well, put 'em all together and what have you got? Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo - it's a thoroughly delicious and entertaining option for you!

    Walt Disney World Resort has combined some great Table Service dining locations with nearby entertainment to create dining packages that will enhance your overall Disney experience. The dining packages, such as the Rivers of Light Dining Package you mentioned, offer guests a meal at preselected dining locations and a spot in the reserved section for the show that day. The package price is a set amount, which can vary by the restaurant you choose and will be a tad bit higher priced than what you would pay if you dined at the restaurant without booking the dining package. Of course, this is expected since you are not just paying for the meal; you are also reserving your spot in a dedicated section for the show. In my experience, the reserved dining package section has been an excellent location with wonderful views! While you will have a dedicated section, there will not be assigned seats. You will still need to arrive a bit early to that evening's showing of Rivers of Light, just not as incredibly early as if you did not have the package.
