Which restaurant at Epcot is the best for dinner with viewing of Illuminations?

    Hey Patty!

My favorite location to watch Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is from the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room. Located directly on the shores of the World Showcase Lagoon, the Rose & Crown is perfectly situated for a fantastic view.

We typically try to get an Advanced Dining Reservation approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours prior to Illuminations so that we have plenty of time to enjoy our meal. We always arrive 15-20 minutes before our reservation time and ask the hostess if it's possible to get a seat on the veranda. While they do try their best to accommodate these requests, it's not always possible. If you are not able to get a veranda seat the Rose & Crown features a VIP view area for its dining guests. If you are seated inside inform your server that you would like to view Illuminations and they will take you out to the viewing area 5-10 minutes prior to the show.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about your dining options or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
