Hi Linda, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I love a good BLT sandwich, so I’d be happy to help you track one down at Disney World. After all, you’re going to be right in the middle of the magic in just a few days!
I haven’t been able to find a traditional BLT sandwich, with just bacon, lettuce, and tomato, but there are several places with their own spin on a turkey BLT sandwich at lunchtime. These eateries include
Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Wilderness Lodge (Turkey BLT Sandwich with candied bacon and avocado puree),
Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary Resort (Turkey BLT with applewood-smoked bacon),
El Mercado de Coronado at Coronado Springs Resort (Turkey BLT with Swiss cheese and a Schug aioli on focaccia bread),
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in EPCOT (Dinde B.L.T. with garlic aioli), and
Earl of Sandwich in Disney Springs (The Earl’s Club with turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, Roma tomato, and their special sandwich sauce). I’m partial to Geyser Point Bar & Grill since it’s a relaxing boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom and has pretty waterside views! For more details on the offerings, you can check the menu on each of the restaurant's pages on the Disney World website or the
My Disney Experience app.
There are also two non-turkey versions I found, the BLT + C on the
Wine Bar George lunch menu in Disney Springs and the Grilled Chicken BLT at
Cabana Bar and Beach Club at the Dolphin Hotel, which you can walk to from EPCOT’s International Gateway Entrance. If you’re in that area, my family loves to rent a
Surrey bike from the BoardWalk Inn or play mini golf at
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways, which is near the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. The BoardWalk area is such a hidden gem at Disney World!
Safe travels this weekend, and I hope you find the practically perfect BLT sandwich during your vacation! If you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
