    Which is restaurant is better suited for young children (2 and 4) Boma or Whispering Canyon Cafe? Also how long would it take to get to each from Animal Kingdom and what method of transportation is available?

    Hi Anna,

    If you have read any of my posts, you will know how much I love Whispering Canyon Cafe! I really think your little ones will love this restaurant. They can build lincoln logs in the lobby and then partake in an old fashion pony ride. Plus when the ask for ketchup for dinner, it will take on a whole new meaning! The food is good western flavored fun with meatloaf, ribs, beans and delicious cornbread as well all you can drink milkshakes! Located in the Wilderness Lodge is is about a 20 minute ride to this resort from Animal Kindgdom by bus.

    I do love Boma but this buffet offers an African flair. The buffett will have some American items but it will focus on the flavors of Africa which only you can tell if your children will eat. Since this restaurant is located at the Animal Kingdom resort, it is only a short five minute ride to dinner after a day of touring.
