Which restaurant has the best breakfast O'Hana or Kona Cafe?

Hi, Tina!  This is a really tough question, because the dining experiences are completely different.  I love them both, but it depends on what you're looking for.

At 'Ohana, the breakfast is a character meal that is served family style.  If you can imagine a big, homestyle breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, and delicious homemade breads, that's a good image of what 'Ohana has.  For me, it's like going home and having my Mom go overboard with all of my breakfast favorites, and I remember all the things I love about going home.

Kona Cafe has a fabulous breakfast menu, and I have to tell you, some of the items are probably my favorite breakfast foods anywhere.  They have the famous Tonga Toast, which is a banana stuffed cinnamon sugared sourdough bread, topped with a fruit compote.  Another family favorite is the Big Kahuna breakfast, which features a macadamia nut - pineapple pancakes.  They have awesome coffee, and if you're not in the mood for something different for breakfast, you will also find the traditional breakfast offerings.

I think the decision comes down to what type of experience you'd like.  Both restaurants are equally delicious dining experiences.

    Have a wonderful visit!
