Ressies at CBR. Switched to BC cuz trying to find serene place to reconnect w/hubby! Bottom line - had to switch back to CBR cuz of $$! :-( want a King and a water view to make it special ... told view not guaranteed. Which bulding? We need concierge

When you say you need concierge, do you mean a concierge or club level room? If so, I'm afraid you will be disappointed, as those are not available at any of the moderate resorts. Club level rooms are an amenity exclusive to deluxe resorts. There is, however, a concierge desk available in the lobby of all Disney resorts. They can assist you in making reservations or transportation arrangements and things of that nature. You won't find the same level of service that you would if you were staying in a concierge level room, but of course that does come with a price tag, as you have discovered.

If this is really a must for you, then I recommend that you consider the Animal Kingdom Lodge (my favorite concierge), or the Wilderness Lodge, which are the least expensive of the deluxe resorts.

If you are willing to forgive the concierge level and stay at the CBR (which, incidentally, is my favorite moderate resort!), then I recommend the Martinique area. It's very close to the main building and amenities, and worth paying the nominal upgrade fee to be there.

    Have a wonderful trip!
