Do the resorts supply fans for the rooms. I sleep with one on to drown out noise and help me sleep. Can I request one at the resort I'm staying at? Or do I need to bring one? Thanks!

Hi Steph! Thank you for returning to planDisney with another question!

Like you, I am a person who relies on white noise and a fan to fall asleep. All Disney Resorts come equipped with in-room air conditioning, but fans aren't available. I suggest bringing one from home, or if you don't want to travel with one, you can order one and have it shipped to your resort, and Bell Services will hold it for you until check-in. My planDisney pal Jessica also mentioned that there are companies in Orlando that you can rent one from!

Other items I suggest bringing to keep cool during the day include misting fans and cooling water towels. They are lifesavers for my family whenever we visit.

Thank you for visiting planDisney, Steph! I hope these suggestions help you have a "cool" visit to Walt Disney World! Have a wonderful vacation!

    Magic Awaits!
