Do resorts have roll away beds. Trying to find a resort for me and my parents. I know normal standard rooms have double beds but we would each like are own bed. Thanks!

Hi Jennifer!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,  We are happy to be able to help you out once again.  I can offer you a few tips to help you choose the perfect resort for your upcoming vacation with your parents.

Value Resorts, such as Disney's All Star Resorts, and Disney's Pop Century Resort would have 2 double beds in a standard guest room.   I have requested a roll-away bed at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and have been accommodated on past trips.  I will let you know that these beds are available on a first come-first served basis.  Value Resorts are small on price, but large on theming.   If you are looking to save a few dollars these Resorts would be a great choice.

Most of Disney's moderate level Resorts would contain 2 queen sized beds in the standard rooms.  The exception to this rule is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort where you will find 2 double beds in a standard room.   I find that the moderate level resorts are my families favorites, as they offer a table service restaurant along with delicious food-courts.   My favorite moderate level resort is Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside.  Rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of the Resort even contain an extra small pull-down bed.   These beds are a great size for children, but I have had some small adult friends sleep in them as well.

Some Disney Deluxe Resorts will also offer an extra day bed, so that your family will have 3 separate sleeping options.   Daybed options can be found at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort,  Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

No matter what Resort you choose I know you will have a fantastic time.  If you have further questions about choosing the perfect Resort, please let me know.
