Family in Deluxe Villa Resort

    do any resorts have a refrigerator with freezer in the room? I would need to keep an ice pack frozen to bring medicine for my special needs son to the parks daily.

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for swinging by with your question. We love helping guests to plan out the details, so you can have the most magical stay possible at Walt Disney World Resort! I researched a few options for you to freeze your ice packs, so please allow me to share what I found.

    There are a few Disney Resorts that come with an in-room freezer.

    1. Art of Animation Family Suites - My kids adore this fun, family-friendly resort! Art of Animation offers family suites with spectacular theming in the Cars, Lion King, or Finding Nemo sections. I double checked with a friendly Cast Member, and they confirmed that these suites have a mini refrigerator with a mini freezer. I believe this is the style with a small freezer compartment or top shelf area.
    2. Ft. Wilderness Cabins - These units offer a lovely, private option in a wooded setting. Each cabin features a kitchen area, including a full sized fridge with freezer.
    3. Deluxe Villas - Available in multiple deluxe Disney Resorts... any of the 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, or 3-bedroom villas will have a full sized fridge with freezer in the kitchen.

    Hopefully one of those options works well for your family to keep your ice packs frozen. As an alternative idea, all Disney Resorts have ice vending machines available for you to fill a cooler with ice to bring to the park. We can track down specific ice machine locations at each resort, if that's helpful!
