    Which resorts & parks does the monorail connect? (Does it run from Poly to Epcot, or from Grand FL to Epcot?) Do buses run from parks to DTD & from DTD to parks? From Contemp, where can we catch bus to DTD? From DTD, where can we catch bus to Poly?

    Hi!

    I'd love to help you out with your transportation questions! There are so many ways to get around Disney World, it can be confusing at times!!

    Monorail: There are two monorail lines at Disney World. One runs in a loop between Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary, Polynesian, Ticket & Transportation Center and Grand Floridian. There is also an "express monorail" option which runs directly from the Magic Kingdom to The Ticket & Transportation Center. The second monorail line runs from the Ticket & Transportation Center to Epcot. If you're along a monorail resort, you should take the monorail to the Ticket & Transportation Center and transfer to the Epcot Monorail.
     
    Buses: Buses run from each resort to the parks and Downtown Disney. Buses do not run from Downtown Disney to the Theme Parks.

    Transportation at the Contemporary: The bus stop at the Contemporary is located to the right of the main lobby exit. Its very well marked and you'll have no trouble finding it! There you'll be able to grab a bus to Downtown Disney. To get to the Polynesian, your easiest option will be to board the monorail right at the Contemporary. The Polynesian is just a few minutes away!
