Hi Nicholas!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family was in your exact boat about 2 weeks ago on our recent trip to Walt Disney World! We stayed at
Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge, where we took advantage of the
complimentary cribs that Disney provides.
This is a service that is provided at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you just need to request it. This can be done by attaching the request to your reservation prior to arrival by calling 407-939-5277 or you can check with the Front Desk upon arrival. Our trip was rather last minute so we requested it after we were settled into our room and the Pack 'N Play was quickly brought up with a fitted sheet. While a shortage on cribs has never been an issue for my family upon traveling, I do want to let you know that they are limited and not guaranteed.
For the king bed, we made the same request upon check-in with a similar thought that we'd have more room as well. It worked out great and they were able to accommodate our request, but I honestly don't think it would have been a tight squeeze with the two queen beds either. A typical standard room at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge includes 2 queen beds and measures 344 square feet. At
Disney Yacht Club Resort a typical standard room will have 2 queen beds and a day bed, measuring 400 square feet. I honestly don't think you could go wrong either way! While you may have a little more room at one, I think your daughter will love seeing the animals at the other.
Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to help and I hope you have a magical trip!
