Hi Marisa, and thanks for splashing over to planDisney! My family loves the pools at the different resort hotels, so I’d be happy to chat about swimming at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
I chatted with a Cast Member to be absolutely sure, and they confirmed that there aren’t swim lessons currently offered at Disney World resort hotels or the water parks.
In case it’s helpful, you’ll find life jackets in a range of sizes for kids at the pools. And some Disney resort hotels, like
Art of Animation Resort and
Animal Kingdom Lodge, have zero-entry pools, which makes it easier for little ones to get their feet wet. My nephew is still learning how to swim, and he also loves a good splash pad! Some of his favorites are the Finding Nemo-themed one at Art of Animation Resort, the Alice and Wonderland-themed one at the
Grand Floridian Resort, and the Frozen-themed one at
Blizzard Beach Water Park.
And speaking of the water parks, don’t forget that Disney
resort hotel guests get complimentary water park admission on check-in day this summer. It’s a great value and such a fun way to kick off your vacation!
I’m wishing you a magical visit to Disney World! And if you have any questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
