At the resorts, I know it is 4 adults to a room, but what is the policy with infants and toddlers? I have a family member who has 4 children so it would be 2 adults, a 6yr old, 3yr old, and 2- 1yr olds. Is there a room to accommodate them staying together?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Hope.

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by to chat about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation in the near future. There's no better time to come "home" than now, because The World's Most Magical Celebration is taking place!

I know choosing the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel to comfortably accommodate your family is an oh-so important decision. Thankfully, Walt Disney World has many Resort hotel options available for families of six. Both Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort offer Family Suites that sleep up to six, have two bathrooms, and contain kitchenettes. If I had to choose between the Family Suites at these two Disney Resorts, I would go with Disney’s Art of Animation Resort because of its on-site access to the Disney Skyliner which will make navigating to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with strollers a breeze!

The Deluxe Villa Resorts offer many accommodation options that would give everyone more than enough room to spread out. The 2 Bedroom Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Old Key West Resort have a kitchen, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and more. It's truly like having a home away from home! Both Resorts boast quick access to Disney Springs, which means your family member's crew would be mere minutes away from the shopping and dining options there. Keep in mind the Deluxe Villas cost quite a bit more, so if budget is a concern they will want to go the route of booking a Family Suite.

One way your family member can view all rooms that can safely accommodate their family is performing a search and including their exact party size. On the Walt Disney World Resort website’s homepage, next to “Build Your Vacation” at the top of the page, they need to input the date of their trip and include two adults and four children. When they increase the number of children to four, an option to input the ages of the children at the time of travel will pop up. Once they put the ages of their children and click “View Rates,” they will receive a list of Resorts with rooms that accommodate their party size for those dates. That’s their best bet to assure they choose a room that fits everyone comfortably.

Hope, please stop by to chat again soon. We’re all EARs here at planDisney and more than happy to help!
