Are there any resorts where everything is in the same building. We stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort last time we visited and we had to go all the way across the resort to get to where the food and beverages are.

    Hi Michelle,

Yes, there are hotels that are much more geographically contained than the very large Caribbean Beach Resort.

Disney resorts with smaller footprints, where you usually walk inside to get from your room to the food options, include: Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, and Yacht Club. And while the Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Boardwalk do have some out buildings, these are quite near the main hotel facilities.

The moderate resort with the smallest footprint is Port Orleans French Quarter.

You should know that there are premium level rooms at all the moderate and value level resorts. For a few extra dollars per night, they'll place you in one of the buildings that's next to the main food and transportation options. This can be a good compromise between splurging on a deluxe hotel and facing long walks to get a cup of coffee.
