Welcome to planDisney, Diane, and thanks for this great question. I've become a big fan of the space-saving pull-down bed, and
Walt Disney World Resort has taken the concept to the next level. As many resorts receive refurbishment, pull-down beds are being added, and they often convert to a sofa or a table during the day. Such a magical use of space! So let's look at the options you'll have for your upcoming visit.
I know of two
Disney Resort Hotels that offer a separate bedroom with a queen pull-down bed in the living space. The Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort have this configuration, and this resort also offers the
Disney Skyliner as complimentary transportation. The other option with a queen pull-down bed is the Family Suite at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The room layout is similar to Art of Animation, with both resorts accommodating up to six guests with a sleeper sofa in addition to the pull-down bed. These family suites also have kitchenettes and two full bathrooms. I love these rooms, especially for family trips. That second bathroom is priceless!
I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who said that there isn't a way to sort based on room configurations. Still, he suggested you explore the villas and bungalows to see if any of those meet your criteria. First, you would choose the Room Rates tab, and then you can click through photos and descriptions of each resort's room types. For example, I did a quick search on
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, and there's a One-Bedroom Villa that offers a king bed, a queen pull-down bed, and a twin pull-down bed.
Diane, I hope you have fun exploring the options for your upcoming visit. I'm sending pixie dust so you'll find the perfect resort. I hope you have a magical time, and
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
