Do resorts allow late checkout . We do not have to leave until 4PM on our day of departure and would like to shower before we head home.

It is sometimes possible to arrange for a late check-out, This is completely at the discretion of the hotel management based on the occupancy at the time of your visit.

I was in a similar situation with a late flight like yours last summer. I was staying at the Boardwalk resort and the kids wanted to spend the early afternoon swimming. I went to the front desk of the hotel and asked if we could have a later check-out time. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to leave at 2:00 p.m. rather than the normal 11:00 a.m. time.

My suggestion would be to go to the front desk of your resort early during your stay and ask for the late check-out in person. It may not be possible if the hotel is fully booked, but they will try to help you if they can.

    Good luck!
