Hi Sara! Thanks for stopping by to see us here at
planDisney! Even our
furry friends can enjoy a stay at some Walt Disney World Resort hotels. They’re even greeted with a special welcome kit!
You have a good number of options that will suit any budget. These range from a Value Disney Resort to even a Deluxe Disney Resort hotel.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is a Moderate Disney Resort, and always my family’s first choice. There is plenty of space to spread out and they have a
dog park too! Our dogs Bruno and Buster love it there! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans- Riverside Resort and
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are also Pet Friendly.
According to the
current dog policies, guests would be allowed two dogs per stay, at a fee of $50-$75 per night. (Remember that these prices are subject to change.)
In order to receive Housekeeping during your visit, you will have to make an appointment. Just dial the Housekeeping button on your in-room telephone to schedule a time. This can be a daily appointment, or you can have housekeeping visit every other day. While the Cast Member is tidying up, you can take your dog (or dogs) on a walk to explore the property.
Sara, it’s important to remember that housekeeping staff will not enter your Disney Resort hotel room if the dogs are inside. When they are left alone, you are required to put the “do not disturb” hanger on the door handle to alert Cast Members that dogs are present.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to stop by again with any other planning questions you might have. Helping you with all the details of your next
magical vacation is our pleasure!
Veronica
