I have a resort and ticket package for August 2020 that I want to modify to reschedule for July 2021. If I call, can that be done now and if not now, what date can I call? Thank you!

    Hi there, Louise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am elated you stopped by with your question.

I am a firm believer that it’s never a “goodbye” when you have to change or cancel a reservation to The Most Magical Place on Earth; instead, I look at it as a “See ya real soon, pal!”

Louise, you’re in luck! At this time, the magic makers at Walt Disney World Resort are focusing on Guests with existing reservations! That means, you can call to modify your August 2020 vacation to July of next yEAR. According to the Update on Walt Disney World Resort Operations page, Disney is also waiving all Disney-imposed cancellations fees for Resort Rooms and Packages up to the date of your check-in for reservations prior to October 3, 2020. Rest assured, Cast Members will be happy to take care of you, Louise.

Next year also marks Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary! What a wonderful time to come and celebrate!

If you have any questions regarding your future enchanting vacations to Walt Disney World Resort, we’re all ears, Louise!
