Hi there, Mary! Welcome back to planDisney, where helping you plan your magical Disney getaway is our happily ever after.
I’m so excited to hear about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort this May! With your resort and theme park tickets already sorted, you’re off to an incredible start.
Mary, here’s the good news! Currently, theme park reservations are no longer needed for most Guests with date-based tickets—woo-hoo!
If your tickets are date-based (which they probably are since you’re visiting in May), you can skip the step of making park reservations and focus on the fun stuff instead.
So now, let’s talk strategy because it’s time to sprinkle some pixie dust on your plans! I’d recommend hopping into your
My Disney Experience account to book those dining reservations. You’ll want to lock in your favorite restaurants—like snagging a table at Be Our Guest for an enchanted meal at Beast’s Enchanted Castle or grabbing a spot at
Space 220 for an out-of-this-world dining experience. Dining reservations open 60-days in advance, so mark your calendar if you haven’t already!
And for even more magic, once your park tickets are linked, plan to book your
Lightning Lane Passes to secure your family’s must-do attractions, save time, and enjoy more of the magic. For resort guests like yourself, this window opens 7-days before your arrival date.
I hope this helps you feel ready to create your best stay ever at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any more questions or need extra tips, just wave your wand (or type away); I’m hEAR for you!
Wishing you a trip filled with magical moments and plenty of Mickey-shaped snacks!
See ya real soon,
Emille
