Jambo, Jaime, and welcome to planDisney! You'll start your safari at
Walt Disney World Resort soon, so here's to a magical visit.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a WILD place, so let's look at your transportation options.
Disney Springs is always my first stop when I arrive for my vacation because perusing merchandise at World of Disney is how I surround myself in a cocoon of pixie dust. Unfortunately, there isn't bus or boat service to the theme parks from this shopping district, so I'd recommend using a rideshare to get to Animal Kingdom from Disney Springs.
If you're a guest of any Disney Resort Hotel, you can take complimentary
bus service directly to Animal Kingdom. I like to organize my thoughts and plans for the day on that bus ride, and it's so convenient to relax and leave the driving to Disney.
If you have a car, you'll only pay for
parking at the first theme park you enter; keep your receipt for complimentary parking at any other parks you visit that day. Plus, once you've parked at a theme park, you can use the
Disney transportation network as much as you like.
Jaime, I'm sending pixie dust and a giant roar so you'll have a TIGER-ific time. I'm not LION! Please feel free to
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
