    We have resort reservations but will not be going into the parks on our first night. Can we use the pool prior to checking into our resort or do we need to plan to hit Disney Springs before our check-in time?

    Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it.   Are you too excited?  I know I bounce around my house like Tigger when I have a trip planned.   I hope you have the BEST VACATION EVER!

    Yes, if you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and your room is not ready, you can use the on site recreational activities at your Resort hotel including the pool.  My kids always pack a small carry on bag with them that contains a bathing suit and change of clothes so they can head straight to the pool when we arrive.   I encourage you to take advantage of Online Check-In.   Online Check-In allows you to pick an arrival time and lets Disney know what time you will be at the Resort.  By doing this they may have your Resort ready when you arrive.  On my last visit I arrived around 11 a.m. and my room was ready.  I even got a text on my cell phone that told me my room number so I never had to stop by the front desk.  I simply went straight to my room and opened the door with my MagicBand.   Isn't that great?
