Hi there, Lester! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and allow us to help you by answering another Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are the perfect way to capture the wonder of the great outdoors while staying just minutes away from the
Magic Kingdom! Guests can look forward to exploring this resort’s 750 acres of wooded forest that are home to a variety of critters including deer, rabbits, armadillos, and ducks. Additionally, this resort is known for its
wide variety of outdoor activities that the whole family can enjoy! Some of these include fishing, bike rentals, kayak rentals, jogging trails, archery, and so much more. If you and your family enjoy experiencing outdoor activities, this is definitively the resort for you!
Your upcoming stay is what is often referred to as a “split stay”. This means you will be staying at two different
Disney Resort hotels during your vacation. Typically, these types of stays are booked as two different reservations and need to be paid separately. Vacation packages to Walt Disney World Resort may be paid off online through your
My Disney Experience account or by
calling Guest Relations. Room-only reservations may be paid off upon arrival at your Disney Resort hotel. From your description, it sounds as though the remainder of your balance for your campsite stay falls under the room-only rules. This is likely why it is not showing a balance on your My Disney Experience account.
If you haven’t already done so, I would also recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience app prior to your vacation! This is the perfect way of keeping track of all your vacation plans right from your smartphone. My personal favorite feature is the ability to see the balance I have charged to my Disney Resort hotel room throughout my stay!
I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming camping trip at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
