Oh boy, oh boy! Is there anything more exciting than sitting down to plan your visit to Walt Disney World? I love researching the resorts, planning park days, and building a vacation that is practically perfect in every way! I'm happy to share some information to help you start building your vacation package.
Sandra, I typically start my own vacation planning by searching hotel availability for my selected dates. With more than two dozen
hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection, you have plenty of options when deciding where to stay. As I make my choice, I usually find myself balancing resort amenities and proximity to the parks with my budget for the trip. The good news is that there are great choices in every pricing category. Some of my favorite options are
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort,
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and
Disney's Beach Club Resort, if you're looking for a few suggestions as you start your search. You may find the resort tours available on the

planDisney Pocket Guides helpful, too!
After you select your hotel, you'll be provided the opportunity to
add tickets and start building your vacation package. Base tickets will allow you to visit one park per day, while tickets with the
park hopper option give you the option to "hop" between theme parks each day. You can also choose whether to add a dining plan to give your vacation plans a more "all-inclusive" feel. For 2027, Guests can choose from
three distinct dining plans: Quick-Service Dining Plan, Table-Service Dining Plan, or Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan. With a dining plan, you'll receive a set number of meals and snacks per Guest to enjoy at eligible locations each night of your stay. Additionally, all Guests with a dining plan will receive a Resort-Refillable Drink Mug to use throughout their trip.
When you choose to book a vacation package, you can access
Magical Extras along with all of the
benefits available to resort Guests. My family likes to take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry, and our early booking windows for
Lightning Lane passes to maximize our time in the parks and enjoy more of our favorite rides and attractions.
