    We have resort and meal tickets. Do you have to purchase park tickets to buy a photo pass?

    Hi, Rhonda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for sending us your question. I appreciate the Disney PhotoPass photographers so much during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. Looking over pictures from our trips years ago, it looked as if my husband and daughters went on the trips without me! I was always behind the camera documenting the memories. Now, I just entrust the wonderful Disney PhotoPass photographers with this duty and focus instead on making those memories alongside my family.

    The Disney PhotoPass photographers can be found all across Walt Disney World Resort. While most are found within the theme parks, there are a few located at Disney Resort Hotels, usually at dining locations that feature character meals or Dinner Shows. If you are enjoying one of these dining locations and find yourself with a practically perfect picture opportunity, the Disney PhotoPass photographer will give you a card that has the picture information linked to it. No Disney Theme Park Ticket required! When you return home, simply head to the Disney PhotoPass website and use the card's information to pull up the picture. I have a quick tip to share here - you may want to take a picture of the back of that card in case it gets lost! You will be able to complete the purchase of your favorite pictures right on that website.

    Rhonda, I do highly recommend that you make a stop by Disney Springs to enjoy their Disney PhotoPass Studio. There is not an admission fee or ticket required to visit Disney Springs, so it is a great place to head for a bit of Disney magic! At this studio, the Disney PhotoPass photographers have many different props and backdrops, some of them even digital, to help you make a picture-perfect pose.
