If while resort hopping, we find a resort we want to spent the afternoon at, is the 3 hour time limit for parking at the resort firm? Can we ask security to extend our parking? Thanks.

    Hi Joe,

One of my favorite things to do during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to visit the different Disney Resort hotels. With so many different and AMAZING themes, it's so fun to tour them and discover all of the incredible attention to detail. It's a whole new way to enjoy the magic of a Disney vacation! Experiencing the Fire Rock Geyser's eruption at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, watching the incredible wildlife at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and enjoying the Electrical Water Pageant from one of the Magic Kingdom Park Resort hotels are some of my favorites! And you're exactly right. Guests are entitled to up to three hours of complimentary parking at a Disney Resort hotel to be able to enjoy some shopping, dining, and touring. Since three hours is the official policy, you'd need to check at the specific Resort hotel to see if they would allow you to take a little longer, as that would be up to the discretion of the Cast Members there.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joe, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
