    If we resort hop next Disney trip 6/2016 do we have 1 reservation # or 2 separate for both hotels. Wondering how that works for making dining reservations?

    Howdy Kristin!

    Welcome back!  It's always a pleasure to help out a returning Guest to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like your family is planning on Resort hopping during your visit.  My family loves to split our stays between 2 different Resorts when we visit Walt Disney World.   We usually book one Resort for a week long stay and add a few days either at the end or beginning of the week at a different Resort.  I am happy to share how splitting a stay worked for us.

    When I book split stays I have two different reservations and confirmation numbers. The 2 reservations are listed separately in My Disney Experience.   If you are planning booking a Magic Your Way package with dining you would have 2 separate reservations.   You will also be given the option to personalize 2 sets of MagicBands.  You can not have one single reservation at 2 different hotels.   

    As for Advanced Dining Reservations you can make those even if you don't have a Disney Resort hotel booked.   Advanced Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance of your visit.  You can do this online or by phone.
