Do resort guests get to enter parks 1 hour earlier?

Hello Diana!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Extra Magic Hours are just one of the many benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Each day, at least one Theme Park will be open exclusively for Resort guests one hour prior to regular park hours in the morning or two hours after regular park closing in the evening. You can check the calendar of park hours to see which Theme Park is offering Extra Magic Hours the day you plan to visit and if there are morning and/or evening Extra Magic Hours that day. We love visiting the Theme Parks during Extra Magic Hours. It is a great way to get more out of our day. Guests with the Park Hopper Option may utilize morning Extra Magic Hours in one Theme Park, and visit another Theme Park with evening Extra Magic Hours (if offered) on the same day.

When looking at the calendar, note that Extra Magic Hours are a free benefit offered to all Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests. Disney Early Morning Magic in Fantasyland or Toy Story Land and Disney After Hours events are separately ticketed events that are available for anyone to purchase.

I hope that helps! Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again should you have additional questions about planning your vacation.

    Enjoy!
