Hi Andria!
I'm so glad you reached out again because I had lots more to share but ran out of space! It sounds like you have two amazing days of resort hopping planned. I'm happy you'll also be making a stop at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort as part of your tour. Be sure to grab a DOLE Whip from
Pineapple Lanai while you're there, as they usually have some fun flavor combinations available.
When I last wrote I thought you might be visiting Disney's Wilderness Lodge, but it looks like you'll instead be spending some time at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These are actually two different resorts, but you'll be able to head there from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa via Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and then by bus to the Settlement Depot stop at Disney's Fort Wilderness. Once you've enjoyed
horseback riding and canoeing I'd recommend heading to Disney's Riviera Resort.
You can do so by boarding a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then heading towards Disney's Riviera Resort via the
Disney Skyliner. Alternatively, you can also get to Riviera via a transfer by bus through Disney Springs. I'd take a look at the arrival times when you get to the Fort Wilderness bus stop and decide based on which bus will arrive first. I do think the Disney Skyliner is the most fun method of transportation on property, but if the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios won't be arriving for some time, you may have a quicker route via Disney Springs. Plus you can take a moment or two to do some shopping should the mood strike.
Once you've finished at Disney's Riviera Resort you can head to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge by using the Disney Skyliner back to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then transferring to a bus to your final destination. This would be a great place to end your day as the animals are usually active around the late afternoon/early evening feeding time. You may even want to schedule a dinner at
Sanaa and take in the sunset savanna views while you dine. If you do, don't even think about skipping the Indian-style Bread Service. It's delicious!
I'd like to offer two additional tips as you go about your day. First, you'll be able to search transportation options and directions between any locations on Walt Disney World Resort property using your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Simply use the location icon or search feature to find your starting location and then select "Get Directions" to input another resort, restaurant, or theme park. The app will show you all the different options available for each pair of destinations with approximate travel times between. It's come in handy for me countless times!
Second, though Disney's complimentary resort transportation will get you anywhere from point A to B you might find it faster to travel using
Minnie Van Service or another ride-share service. This will come with a fee, but if you are pressed for time this could be a handy way to get around quickly.
I'm excited about all the magical moments you'll get to experience when you visit this fall. Be sure to snap plenty of pictures along the way!
Adventure is out there,
Amy
