    Which resort has the best rating? I would like a 2 bedroom villa and like looks of Bay Lake Contemporary. We have 3 children ages 10, 8 and 5. Would this be suitable for them? Would you recommend something different? Any other suggestions welcome! Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have asked a popular question, but one for which you will get a different answer from every Disney Parks fan! One of the things I think is so well done with resort hotels at Walt Disney World, is that there is something for everyone’s taste. You will find that any of Disney’s Deluxe resorts will have excellent ratings for restaurants and amenities, but which one is the best, depends on your family. 

    Many Guests love Disney’s Bay Lake Tower for it’s sleek and contemporary design, outstanding dining options, easy access to the Monorail and walking path to the Magic Kingdom. If you will be spending a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom, this may be the perfect choice for you. My kids thought that being able to watch the nightly Wishes fireworks right from our hotel was awesome! 

    For my personal tastes however, Bay Lake Tower is not my favorite! I prefer a quieter, more laid back atmosphere and I am not a fan of contemporary architecture. My husband and I prefer Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas or The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. You are greeted with a soaring lobby ceiling, themed decor, pools and restaurants. Since I look to my Disney trips for an escape from the everyday, I prefer resorts that transport me to a different time or place.

    If a lot of pool time is important to your family, then I would recommend Disney’s Beach Club Villas. There you will find what is considered to be the best pool on property, Stormalong Bay Pool. This pool features a sand bottom area, a shipwreck themed waterside and a lazy river! Disney’s Beach Club Villas are also within walking distance to Epcot.

    All of these resorts will offer Disney’s legendary customer service and amazing Cast Members to help make your vacation magical, all that is needed is to decide which theme is the perfect one for your family!
