    Resort AOA, 9/24-9/30. Girls- 5 & 7 yrs. Kids and my moms first time. Want to dine at Boma,Le Cellier,Ohana,Cinderellas table,50s Prime Time,1900 Park,Askershus,Be Our Guest, are these good choices for us & kids? What things should we def do during

    Laura,

    Yes, these are great restaurants for kids! My two girls, who are also 5 and 7, loved all of these (though they have not been to 2 of them) on our recent trips. We have enjoyed them so much that we have returned repeatedly to many.

    The only ones that they have not been to are Boma or Be Our Guest. Be our Guest opened after our last trip, but I can tell you that it is great for kids, and we are going on our next family vacation. As for Boma, we love Tusker House, which is based on the buffet from Boma. The setting is great and so is the food.

    Another thing I like about all these choices is that they will be good for you and your Mom as well. They have great food for adults, so you get a treat too.

    The rest of your question cut off, but I can say that some of the often lost opportunities of families at these restaurants are the following;

    Experimentation: Get your kids to try something new, especially at the buffets where you can still go back and get their standards if they don't like what you picked for them. The more exotic offerings at Boma, in particular, come to mind.

    Appreciation: Often we are so busy eating that we neglect to take in the amazing atmosphere of these locales. Make a point of asking the girls about the decor. Did they just get transported to Africa? Are they in a real castle?

    Revelation: At dinner we ALWAYS take time to have everyone at the dinner table, parents included, share what was their favorite ride, favorite show, and favorite moment of the day. You get to savor the time you have spent together!

    If you have any follow-up questions about these restaurants, please feel free to send them to me!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
