How do residents of Florida obtain tickets? Are they then mailed? We live two hours away so I was curious how this works, thanks!

Hi Melissa! So glad you brought your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful that you’re only a short, two-hour drive from the most magical place on earth!

As a Floridian, I know residents can enjoy some great deals when purchasing theme park tickets at the Walt Disney World Resort. Right now, a 3-Day Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket is selling for $159 plus tax.

Keep in mind, all rates are subject to change so please check with a Cast Member to verify these prices. Also, you must use these tickets and any options purchased for them by June 24, 2018.

With that said, Florida residents can receive their tickets in many ways. They can be ordered online and picked up at will call at any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. They can be mailed to your home, purchased at the Disney Store and in some areas, purchased at the check-out line at your favorite grocery store!

Before your fun-filled day at the theme parks can begin, you must activate your tickets. That’s an easy process and Cast Members are always so helpful! Go to any of the four Walt Disney World theme park ticket windows or Guest Relations to show your Proof of Florida Residency and you’ll be ready to start your day.

Melissa, I hope this information is helpful to you. If you need any more help planning your trip, please feel free to stop by again!
