Hi there, Matt!
From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney! Becoming a Walt Disney World Resort
Annual Passholder (or even taking advantage of a discounted single or multi-day ticket) is the BEST way to celebrate your new residency in the Sunshine State. It is my pleasure to help you with your proof of residency question. Let’s dive right in!
You’re in luck, my friend! According to the
Proof of Residency FAQ page, and from experience, if you do not have a valid Florida driver’s license, state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID (with Florida address), you can provide other items proving your residency.
So, yes, your utility bill will do the trick! However, your proof of mortgage, utility bill, insurance policy, or other mail from a government agency must be dated within 2 months. You’ll also need another photo ID like a passport or another state’s issued ID.
AN EXTRA GEM: Your next visit is during the ah-mazing
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. If you’re a music lover, I definitely recommend seeing one of the shows in the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. If you’re a cheese lover, tackle Emile’s Fromage Montage and get a fun prize at the end of the culinary journey. Beyond these, there is so much to eat and see at each year’s festival.
Matt, if you have any other questions before your upcoming vacation, please reach out to us here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
