Hey there, hi there, ho there, Stephanie!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks so much for stopping by with your question about Walt Disney World Resort
theme park tickets!
Oh boy - you're hoping to share some Disney magic by gifting your
Florida Resident theme park tickets to another Florida resident family. What an incredibly generous offer, Stephanie! I'm here to help you sort out your ticket reassignment options.
I'm sorry to hear you aren't able to use your theme park tickets as planned. However, I'm happy to inform you that I've checked in with the friendly Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort and confirmed that you should be able to reassign your Florida Resident tickets to friends or family members who are also Florida residents! Stephanie, as long as your theme park tickets are fully unused and unexpired, you should be able to r
eassign your tickets to other Guests in your
Family & Friends List. Since your tickets are Florida Resident tickets, the ticket reassignment may be completed online, but the Guests receiving them will have to
verify residency in person once they arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Stephanie, if you find that you're unable to reassign your theme park tickets in
My Disney Experience, it may be because you've already verified your Florida residency ahead of time. I've been informed by Cast Members at the Existing Tickets phone line that if this step has already been completed, you may not be able to reassign your tickets. If you encounter any difficulties when attempting to reassign your tickets, feel free to reach out to the
Existing Tickets phone line for assistance!
I hope this information is helpful for you, Stephanie. I hope you'll be able to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth again soon, and I wish you luck with your theme park ticket reassignment! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to revisit us here at
planDisney anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
