Hi Jonathan!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am sure your mom thinks you are amazing every day, but you are about to get the Son of the Year Award when you treat
your momma to tickets to Walt Disney World! There are so many exciting things happening at the Resort this year, from the opening of
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to the brand new
Disney Skyliner; I can’t wait to see
everything in store for the ‘World!
Mom visiting for the summer sounds like a
lovely treat. For her to use her
“resident” ticket, she needs to have proof of living in your home. If she doesn’t have an ID with your Florida address, there are a couple of ways that she can show she is a Florida Resident. As long as you have
proof of Florida residency (in the form of ID), she needs proof of living in the same household. That proof can come in a variety of ways, including:
-Bills, Policies or Registration in her name (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy or statement from utilities, insurance, etc. note though that the bills can be no more than two months old).
-Mail from a certified institution such as a bank, federal, or state agency with her name.
Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable.
Jonathan, I hope you enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World as well as a
magical summer with your mom. Here’s to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
Rayna
