I am FL resident and My mom just moving in with us I want to take her to Disney but I am afraid she won’t have her new ID in time is there another way to varify her?

    chEARs Adrienne,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sure your mom thinks you are amazing every day, but you are about to get the Daughter of the Year Award when you treat your momma to tickets to Walt Disney World! There are so many exciting things happening at the Resort this year, and I don’t know whether I’m more excited for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or Disney’s Riviera Resort!

It sounds like mom just moved in with you, what a lovely treat for the two of you. If she doesn’t have her new ID with your Florida address, there are a couple of ways that she can prove she is a Florida Resident. As long as you have proof of Florida residency (in the form of ID), she only needs proof of living in the same household. That proof can come in a variety of ways, including:

-Bills, Policies or Registration (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy or statement from utilities, insurance, etc. note though that the bills can be no more than two months old).
-Mail from a certified institution such as a bank, federal or state agency with her name.

Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable.

Adrienne, I hope you enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World as well as this new adventure with your mom. Here’s to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
