Hey, Brandi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with your question. Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is always a magical experience, but when family comes along, it becomes a pixie-dusted adventure! I am sure you and your niece will make lots of wonderful memories together when she joins you.
Sharing your Annual Passholder benefits is such a sweet gesture from you! However, I may have to put a bit of a damper on those plans. Hopefully not, though! Is your niece by chance a Florida resident? If she is, then she will be able to take advantage of all of those great
Florida resident discounts. Not only are there special prices on Disney Theme Park Tickets and Annual Passes, but there are also exclusive discounts on Disney Resort Hotel stays. If your niece actually lives out-of-state, then she will not qualify for the Florida resident tickets or passes. When these are purchased at the special Florida rates, then
proof of residency for the person in whose name the ticket will be does have to be provided to activate it.
One special exception to this that I can think of is if your niece is a minor. You may be in luck if that is the case! Minor children do not have to provide proof of residency, so you should be able to purchase and activate a ticket or Annual Pass for your niece. This is always subject to change, so please check with the Cast Member when purchasing it.
Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
