Hello Kathie!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to discuss bringing your relative to
Walt Disney World. I'd be delighted to assist you.
Isn't being a Florida resident great? My parents live part-time in the Sunshine State, and they love the perks of being one of Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors. From exclusive
Annual Passes to
resort discounts, it pays to be a Floridian!
Kathie, you are welcome to purchase a ticket for your teenage guest and accompany them to the theme parks. Remember that all visitors 18 and older redeeming
Florida resident tickets must show ID and
proof of Florida residency to activate their tickets. As long as your guest is still a minor, it won't be a problem for them to use tickets you purchase as a resident when you enter the park together.
I hope this is helpful! There are some fantastic deals available to you right now. Have you heard about the
Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket? My parents recently bought the 3-day option to join my family on our upcoming summer vacation. They can't wait to experience
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and are hoping it's open in time for our August trip. Follow
our Instagram account and the
Disney Parks Blog to keep up with all the excitement coming to the theme parks and resorts
this summer.
Thanks again for sending your question our way. Please write back if there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make future visits even more magical.
Wishing you a great, big, beautiful tomorrow,
Betsy
