Hey there, hi there, Tracey Ann! Thanks for visiting
planDisney.
My family loved how often we got to visit
Walt Disney World when we lived in Florida. Living in Orlando made it so that we could visit the
theme parks at least once or twice a week, or we would book a weekend at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and spend a couple of days enjoying our
Florida Resident discount.
You do need to provide
proof of Florida residency to take advantage of Florida resident discounts. There are acceptable forms of identification that don't require you to have a driver's license. If you have a state ID or ID from a Florida military base, that works. With those proofs of residency, you can verify online instead of in person.
If you don't have any of those forms of ID, there are other options. You can provide proof of current mortgage, as long as you have a statement from the past two months, and the same is true of any utility bill or homeowner's insurance policy. You can use those as proof if they are less than two months old. Another option is to bring mail from a financial institution or a government agency - like motor vehicles or your local tax office. The mail has to be less than two months old also. All of these forms of proof will have to be brought to guest services for verification.
A regular, non-discounted one-day, one-park ticket starts at about $116. The price per day goes down with multi-day tickets.
Happy planning, Tracey Ann!
