Hello Frederic!
Welcome back to planDisney.
Disney's BoardWalk Inn is one of my very favorite places to stay so I couldn't be more excited about your upcoming visit. I'm sure you'll find these accommodations to be "beachy keen" as soon as you take in the glorious views and relaxed vibes on Crescent Lake. As you may have seen, the resort is still undergoing some refurbishments but there are plenty of dining options to choose from. Let's dig into the details!
While you won't find a food court like at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, for example, you can start your day with a cup of joe from
Carousel Coffee just off the main lobby. Here, you'll find an assortment of breakfast pastries like muffins and croissants as well as an array of hot and cold beverages. If you're looking for more hearty fare you can place a
Mobile Order at
BoardWalk Deli which is just a very quick walk from the main lobby on Disney's BoardWalk heading toward EPCOT. There, you'll find breakfast sandwiches, bakery items and more beverage options. As a born and raised Jersey girl, I'm especially partial to their NJ Crumb Cake.
One of my favorite options for breakfast is actually
Trattoria al Forno just before BoardWalk Deli. This Table Service Restaurant is a hidden gem and features delicious options like Tiramisù Bread Pudding, Sunrise Breakfast Pizza, and Al Forno Eggs served with Polenta. There used to be a To Go option here, but based on my research that may have been discontinued. However
Ale & Compass Restaurant available just across the lake at Disney's Yacht Club Resort does still offer a Table Service or a To Go breakfast option. You can place a Mobile Order via the My Disney Experience Mobile App (be sure to download that once you've arrived) and take the quick walk over to pick up your items. I love the Shrimp and White Cheddar Grits and the Salted Caramel-Apple French Toast there, but you'll find Mickey Waffles on the menu too.
The Market at Ale & Compass is another Quick-Service option available via Mobile Order at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, with
fan favorites like Mickey Waffles, Breakfast Wraps, and Oatmeal. You can also stop in to pick up some grab-and-go grocery items here as well.
Beach Club Marketplace at Disney's Beach Club Resort, just next door, will have similar offerings.
If you plan to enjoy a pool day at your resort be sure to visit
Leaping Horse Libations, the carousel-themed pool bar. My kids love ordering Mickey Pretzels and snacking poolside while soaking up some sun. I hope this helps, Frederic! If I can answer any additional questions or offer further guidance please don't hesitate to come back and let me know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
